On Friday 9th November, 2018 APK AG welcomed Mr Sven Schulze, Secretary General of the Saxony-Anhalt CDU since 2016 and member of the European Parliament, who visited the company in Merseburg that is about to launch its in-house developed Newcycling® technology on a new production line.
Klaus Wohnig and Mike Kaina, members of the APK AG Management Board, gave the visitors an overview on the current situation of the company and the promising future outlook for the employees and the industrial location Merseburg, for instance.
The visitors walked through the new plant and were impressed by the positive dynamic triggered within the company and APK‘s innovative recycling process that, for the first time, produces plastic re-granulates suitable for reuse in multilayer packaging.
