Saxony-Anhalt’s Minister of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry, Sven Schulze, was again a guest at APK in Merseburg on June 9, 2023. He had already visited the plant at the end of last year and familiarized himself with APK’s unique Newcycling® technology, which transforms waste from multilayer packaging into high-quality recyclates using solvents.
Sven Schulze, Minister of Economics of Saxony-Anhalt, visited APK AG in Merseburg again today, warmly welcomed by Susanne Küppers, Member of the Board of APK AG.
The recent meeting took place as part of a press trip organized by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). This is a company of the Federal Republic of Germany for foreign trade and location marketing. And so, in addition to the great importance of the circular economy for the future and the sustainability goals as well as the resulting opportunities for the region, it was also about APK’s plans for a new plant in Saxony-Anhalt and what options the state has in terms of site development and promotion. With LyondellBasell and KIRKBI A/S, APK has well-known partners for its ambitious plans.
